Description

A darker, thicker version of Tommyknocker's popular Maple Nut Brown. Along with the full, rich taste, no doubt created in part by the greater quantities of malt, the Imperial Nut Brown garners a hefty 9.8% alcohol content. The maple syrup and chocolate add some excellent accents, and don't seem to overwhelm. This is definitely not a light beer, but it also isn't nearly as robust and tar-like as an Imperial Stout or even a Guiness.

Everyone at the Beer Drinker's Guide to Colorado seemed to enjoy this beer, and Mike even positioned it in his top ten.

Comments
We just found out about this beer 3 weeks ago. It’s just great, out of the bottle or on tap. No wimpy summer beers for us…. The drive to Idaho Springs may just be worth it, don’t forget the growlers.
