Description
Part of Breckenridge Brewery's Small Batch Series. Although, it seems to have grown beyond such a limiting descriptor, considering you can find it year-round at many tap houses and liquor stores around the state.

The 471 imposes a very inviting, piney nose. In fact, the nose is a bit deceptive, as the taste doesn't exactly mirror what the nose supposedly fortells. The 471 is no mild pale ale though. With 70 IBU's, it pack's quite a punch. The hops balance well with the malt, so the bitterness is very welcome for the "hophead", but not overwhelming.
