Filtering in steadily from the continuous flow of travelers and scenery gawkers streaming through the main thoroughfare in Manitou, the small, half-moon shaped park hosting the event nearly busted at its foliage-covered seams.

The addition of a new brewery is almost always an agreeable happening. Another source for fermented libations helps to diversify the existing beer population, and generally encourages brewers not to “rest on their laurels”. If you haven't already read or heard about Trinity Brewing Company, then prepare to beginning salivating profusely. They've just finished construction, and will open their doors on Friday, August 29th.

The owner of my go-to liquor store in Colorado Springs was among the first retailers I talked with, and he thought his customers might buy a few maps. But he would not carry our map in his store without the blessing of the State of Colorado.
