The First Annual Summit Brewfest & BBQ
Bringing together the finest beers of Colorado and the nation with the best BBQ in Southern Colorado. Over 40 Breweries will be pouring tasters to match the regions BBQ establishments. In Colorado Springs at the Norris Penrose Event Center. Proceeds benefit Military Charities for Those that Protect our Freedom. Admission is $20 per person, per session and includes Samples of Beer and Sample of BBQ. 6:00pm to 11:00pm.

2009 Left Hand Session Ale Pro-Am Challenge
Left Hand Brewing and The Indian Peaks Alers homebrew club present a Session beers competition. Judging will take place on Saturday, May 16th at Left Hand Brewing in Longmont, CO. As a GABF Pro-Am qualifying competition, the brewers at Left Hand will select a winning beer to be scaled up, brewed at Left Hand, and entered in the 2009 Great American Beer Festival.

Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival
Held at Beaver Creek Memorial Day weekend. Barbecue favorites, Blues music, and the largest Colorado Microbrewery Beer Tasting in the state, featuring over 100 special concoctions from 35 Colorado-based breweries.

Old Chicago Colorado Beer Tour Featuring New Belgium
Join Old Chicago as we kick off our Colorado Beer Tour featuring six New Belgium Brewing beers including a very limited release, Biere de Mars. Try all six beers and get your own "HERE FOR THE BEER" Colorado Mini Tour t-shirt for bragging rights throughout the summer. Plus, enter to win one of ten Fat Tire cruiser-style bikes. We kick off the tour with a party at all Colorado Old Chicago locations from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, May 27th. New Belgium Beer Rangers will be on site with gear and giveaways. Beer we love. The Avery Tap Room now has local musicians showcasing their acoustic talents every Thursday evening. Stop by, have a brew and enjoy the tunes!

Sunday Open-Mic
Open Mic Sundays hosted by Hotfoot from 2:30 - 6:00 PM at the Avery Tap Room. Bands interested in playing should be at the Tap Room by 2pm to sign up with Shawn from Hotfoot. Email kellner@averybrewing.com with any questions.

Monthly pool tournaments
On the first Thursday of every month, put your skills to the test in a double-elimination pool tournament, starting at 8pm. There is a $10 entry fee.
